Device for the measurement of thickness and junction quality of layers on papers and foils
 

OPTRANSTEST is able to measure the phase and amplitude difference of sound waves, transmitted in the air through the foil under investigation. It contains a generator of continuous sinusoidal wave with the frequency adjustable in the range from 192 to 454kHz and output voltage, that can be set (in steps) up to 10V. Receiving channel can have amplification from 20 to 50dB in the bandwidth of the generator and damping of 20dB outside it.

The device allows the measurement of the amplitude and phase difference between the receiving and reference channel. Reference channel is generated from the generator signal, after a defined attenuation and phase shift.

Only German and Polish version of the instruction manual is available now. English version will be prepared soon.
